VSV-G-Tag Antibody : Biotin (OAEC04821-Biotin)
Datasheets/Manuals | Printable datasheet for anti-VSV-G-Tag (OAEC04821-Biotin) antibody |
---|
Product Format | Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer. |
---|---|
Clonality | Monoclonal |
Clone | 2B11 |
Isotype | IgG1 |
Host | Mouse |
Conjugation | Biotin |
Reconstitution and Storage | All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding. |
Immunogen | A synthetic peptide YTDIEMNRLGK coupled to KLH. |
Concentration | 1 mg/ml |
Application Info | WB: 1:2000 |
Description of Target | Vesicular stom atitis virus (VSV), an enveloped RNA virus from the Rhabdoviridae family, is released from the plasma membrane of host cells by a process called budding. The glycoprotein (VSV-G) contains a domain in its extracellular membrane proxim al stem that appears to be needed for efficient VSV budding. VSV-G Tag antibody can recognize C-terminal, internal, and N-terminal VSV-G-tagged proteins. |
