How do I order?
Note for NEW Customer Accounts:
If your organization has not ordered from Aviva Systems Biology before, we will require credit card payment or pre-payment for your first order. Once your account is established in our system, all future orders can be paid by Purchase Order or Credit Card.
If it is your first time buying from us then you have to Register first in order to get the advantages of buying online. Special Note: Aviva policy requires new accounts placing their first order online to pay by credit card.
Buying online at ASB will enable us to process your order in a faster and more secure manner. We will send you a confirmation email once your order has been received or/and completed. Moreover, your information will be stored for your future purchases making it a fast and enjoyable re-ordering process.
If you know our product name or Catalog ID you just need to enter it and add it to the shopping cart. Once you have all of the products of your interest then you can checkout.
You can use a Purchase Order Number or credit card to place your order online.
For all ordering methods, please include product ID, shipping + billing addresses, PO# or credit card info, your telephone number and email address and/or fax number. When will my order ship?
Orders received Monday through Fridays before 2:00 pm PST (GMT -8) are shipped the same day. Orders received after this time are shipped the next business day.
How do I know if you received my order?
You will get a confirmation email when your order has been received, providing you an order number so that you can check the progress of your order. In addition we will send you another email when your order has been completed, including our invoice and the carrier tracking details so that you can monitor the status of your order’s shipment.

Customer pays for Shipping Option
You can choose use your own shipping option. We can use the shipping service of your choice (FedEx, UPS or DHL) as long as you provide us with your shipping account number. Other shipping methods may be available as long as you coordinate the pickup (from our San Diego location) and delivery. For products that need dry/wet ice shipping, there is a $30 charge for shipping materials to cover the cost of the shipping materials.
Shipping At Room Temperature
Most of the time only our standard shipping charges will apply. This is because many of our products are lyophilized and can last several days or weeks in room temperature without impact on the antibody effectiveness. Shipping with wet/dry ice will be identified in the product datasheet as part of the storage requirements.
Customers selecting to split the delivery of products on a single order may be liable to multiple shipping charges, based on the product types included in each shipment. We will contact you when this may occur and you can let us know your preference before we ship.
When will my order be delivered?
Domestic orders are shipped next day delivery. International orders sometimes take between 3 to 5 business days for delivery.
How do I cancel my order?
Orders cannot be cancelled without the approval of Aviva Systems Biology. Submit all cancellation requests to email@example.com for review and confirmation of cancellation.
For catalog products, there is a 30% cancellation fee for any order cancelled after the order is processed, which begins immediately upon order submission. When cancelling an order, the Aviva customer service team will confirm the cancellation charges with you.
For semi-custom products (such as Protein on Demand™ Proteins), these are made to order and once manufacture of the product has begun all cancellations are charged the full value of the order. When requesting cancellation of a semi-custom product, the Aviva customer service team will confirm the cancellation charge with you.
Orders cannot be cancelled once shipment has posted and shipment confirmation is sent. If you wish to return your product after delivery, a 30% restocking fee will be charged for unopened items that are being returned.

International orders: Customs, Duties, and Taxes
You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Aviva Systems Biology, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
