Various whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with SUV39H1 antibody [N3C3] diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (50 ug) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with SUV39H1 antibody [N3C3] diluted at 1:10000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

• Description of Target: This gene encodes an evolutionarily-conserved protein containing an N-terminal chromodomain and a C-terminal SET domain. Loss of function of this gene disrupts heterochromatin formation and may cause chromosome instability. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
