Datasheets/Manuals | Printable datasheet for anti-OPRD1 (OASG02227) antibody |
---|
Predicted Species Reactivity | Human, Mouse, Rat, Simian |
---|---|
Product Format | Liquid. PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Isotype | IgG |
Host | Rabbit |
Application | WB, IHC, ELISA |
Additional Information | Cellular Localization: Cell membrane Tissue Specificity: Detected in oocytes (at protein level). Detected in brain cortex, hypothalamus, hippocampus and olfactory bulb. Detected in oocytes. |
Reconstitution and Storage | Store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. |
Immunogen | Synthesized peptide derived between 300-380 aa from human DOR-1 around the non-phosphorylation site of S363. |
Purification | The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. |
Concentration | 1 mg/ml |
Target Post-Translational Modification | N-glycosylated. Ubiquitinated. A basal ubiquitination seems not to be related to degradation. Ubiquitination is increased upon formation of OPRM1:OPRD1 oligomers leading to proteasomal degradation; the ubiquitination is diminished by RTP4. |
Specificity | DOR-1 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of DOR-1 protein. |
Application Info | WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:100-1:300 ELISA: 1:20000 Optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user. |
Gene Symbol | OPRD1 |
---|---|
Gene Full Name | opioid receptor, delta 1 |
Alias Symbols | DOP, DOR, DOR1, OPRD |
NCBI Gene Id | 4985 |
Description of Target | G-protein coupled receptor that functions as receptor for endogenous enkephalins and for a subset of other opioids. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of down-stream effectors, such as adenylate cyclase. Signaling leads to the inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity. Inhibits neurotransmitter release by reducing calcium ion currents and increasing potassium ion conductance. Plays a role in the perception of pain and in opiate-mediated analgesia. Plays a role in developing analgesic tolerance to morphine. |
Uniprot ID | P41143, P32300, P33533 |
