Datasheets/ManualsPrintable datasheet for anti-OPRD1 (OASG02227) antibody
Product Info
Predicted Species ReactivityHuman, Mouse, Rat, Simian
Product FormatLiquid. PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.
ClonalityPolyclonal
IsotypeIgG
HostRabbit
ApplicationWB, IHC, ELISA
Additional InformationCellular Localization: Cell membrane
Tissue Specificity: Detected in oocytes (at protein level). Detected in brain cortex, hypothalamus, hippocampus and olfactory bulb. Detected in oocytes.
Reconstitution and StorageStore at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
ImmunogenSynthesized peptide derived between 300-380 aa from human DOR-1 around the non-phosphorylation site of S363.
PurificationThe antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration1 mg/ml
Target Post-Translational ModificationN-glycosylated. Ubiquitinated. A basal ubiquitination seems not to be related to degradation. Ubiquitination is increased upon formation of OPRM1:OPRD1 oligomers leading to proteasomal degradation; the ubiquitination is diminished by RTP4.
SpecificityDOR-1 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of DOR-1 protein.
Application InfoWB: 1:500-1:2000
IHC: 1:100-1:300
ELISA: 1:20000
Optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user.
Gene SymbolOPRD1
Gene Full Nameopioid receptor, delta 1
Alias SymbolsDOP, DOR, DOR1, OPRD
NCBI Gene Id4985
Description of TargetG-protein coupled receptor that functions as receptor for endogenous enkephalins and for a subset of other opioids. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of down-stream effectors, such as adenylate cyclase. Signaling leads to the inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity. Inhibits neurotransmitter release by reducing calcium ion currents and increasing potassium ion conductance. Plays a role in the perception of pain and in opiate-mediated analgesia. Plays a role in developing analgesic tolerance to morphine.
