Datasheets/Manuals | Printable datasheet for anti-ABP1 antibody - OAGA00057 |
---|
Predicted Species Reactivity | Human |
---|---|
Product Format | Liquid |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Isotype | IgG |
Host | Rabbit |
Application | IHC-FFPE, WB |
Additional Information | Background: This gene encodes a membrane glycoprotein that is expressed in many epithelium-rich and/or hematopoietic tissues and oxidatively deaminates putrescine and histamine. The protein may play a role in controlling the level of histamine and/or putrescine in these tissues. It also binds to and is inhibited by amiloride, a diuretic that acts by closing epithelial sodium ion channels. [provided by RefSeq] |
:: | Positive Controls: HepG2 |
:: | Cellular Localization: Secreted, extracellular space |
Reconstitution and Storage | Keep as concentrated solution. Aliquot and store at -20C or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. |
Immunogen | Recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 179 of KAO (Uniprot ID#P19801) |
Purification | Purified by antigen-affinity chromatography. |
Concentration | 0.61 mg/ml |
Application Info | Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB: 1:500-1:3000, IHC-P: 1:100-1:1000. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user. |
Storage Buffer | 0.1M Tris, 0.1M Glycine, 10% Glycerol (pH7). 0.01% Thimerosal was added as a preservative. |
