How do I order?


If it is your first time buying from us then you have to Register first in order to get the advantages of buying online.

Buying online at ASB will enable us to process your order in a faster and more secure manner. We will send you a confirmation email once your order has been received or/and completed. Moreover, your information will be stored for your future purchases making it a fast and enjoyable re-ordering process. 

If you know our product name or Catalog ID you just need to enter it and add it to the shopping cart.  Once you have all of the products of your interest then you can checkout.


You can use a Purchase Order Number or credit card to place your order online.


For all ordering methods, please include product ID, shipping + billing addresses, PO# or credit card info, your telephone number and email address and/or fax number. If you have any questions, feel free to call us, and we will be happy to assist you.

When will my order ship?

Orders received Monday through Fridays before 2:00 pm PST (GMT -8) are shipped the same day. Orders received after this time are shipped the next business day.


How do I know if you received my order?

You will get a confirmation email when your order has been received, providing you an order number so that you can check the progress of your order. In addition we will send you another email when your order has been completed, including our invoice and the carrier tracking details so that you can monitor the status of your order’s shipment.

The following are updated shipping and wet/dry ice surcharges for Aviva Systems Biology.  These changes took effect Jan. 2, 2017, unless otherwise noted, for all shipments.

*** Note: Additional charges may apply due to specific fees associated with shipping to a specific country such as special certificates, etc.  Customs fees and taxes are always the responsibility of the customer.  Additional shipping charges may occur for larger bulk orders that require additional packaging requirements.

Customer pays for Shipping Option

You can choose use your own shipping option.  We can use the shipping service of your choice (FedEx, UPS or DHL) as long as you provide us with your shipping account number.  Other shipping methods may be available as long as you coordinate the pickup (from our San Diego location) and delivery.  For products that need dry/wet ice shipping, there is a $20 charge for shipping materials to cover the cost of the shipping materials.

Shipping At Room Temperature

Most of the time only our standard shipping charges will apply.  This is because many of our products are lyophilized and can last several days or weeks in room temperature without impact on the antibody effectiveness.  Shipping with wet/dry ice will be identified in the product datasheet as part of the storage requirements.

Splitting orders

Customers selecting to split the delivery of products on a single order may be liable to multiple shipping charges, based on the product types included in each shipment. We will contact you when this may occur and you can let us know your preference before we ship.


When will my order be delivered?

Domestic orders are shipped next day delivery. International orders sometimes take between 3 to 5 business days for delivery.

International orders: Customs, Duties, and Taxes

You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Aviva Systems Biology, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
