• Warning: Virus could not be cultures from 1 ul of lysate as determined by infection assay. However, lysate should be handled under BSL 2 conditions since the presence of infectious virus cannot be excluded.
• Preparation: Vero cells infected with Zika virus were harvested 7 days post infection, and collected cell debris was lysed in PBS containing 1% Triton-X-100. Then, lysate was cleared by centrifugation and heat inactivated at 56°C for 1 hour.
