Western blot analysis of TRPM8 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal TRPM8 Antibody (C-term C940).293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or lysates transiently transfected transfected with the TRPM8 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human prostata carcinoma tissue reacted with TRPM8 antibody (C-term C940), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Isoform 2 and isoform 3 negatively regulate menthol- and cold-induced channel activity by stabilizing the closed state of the channel.
