TRADD Antibody - middle region : Biotin (AVARP02012_P050-Biotin)
Datasheets/Manuals | Printable datasheet for anti-TRADD (AVARP02012_P050-Biotin) antibody |
---|
Predicted Species Reactivity | Human, Dog, Horse |
---|---|
Product Format | Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer. |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Host | Rabbit |
Conjugation | Biotin |
Application | WB |
Reconstitution and Storage | All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding. |
Immunogen | The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human TRADD |
Predicted Homology Based on Immunogen Sequence | Dog: 76%; Horse: 76%; Human: 100% |
Peptide Sequence | Synthetic peptide located within the following region: YEQAFQLLRRFVQAEGRRATLQRLVEALEENELTSLAEDLLGLTDPNGGL |
Concentration | 0.5 mg/ml |
Blocking Peptide | For anti-TRADD (AVARP02012_P050-Biotin) antibody is Catalog # AAP30256 (Previous Catalog # AAPP00426) |
Sample Type Confirmation | There is BioGPS gene expression data showing that TRADD is expressed in DU145, HEK293T |

Description of Target | TRADD is the adapter molecule for TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 that specifically associates with the cytoplasmic domain of activated TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 mediating its interaction with FADD. Overexpression of TRADD leads to two major TNF-induced responses, apoptosis and activation of NF-kappa-B.The protein encoded by this gene is a death domain containing adaptor molecule that interacts with TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 and mediates programmed cell death signaling and NF-kappaB activation. This protein binds adaptor protein TRAF2, reduces the recruitment of inhibitor-of-apoptosis proteins (IAPs) by TRAF2, and thus suppresses TRAF2 mediated apoptosis. This protein can also interact with receptor TNFRSF6/FAS and adaptor protein FADD/MORT1, and is involved in the Fas-induced cell death pathway.
