TAB2 Antibody - middle region : Biotin (ARP74274_P050-Biotin)

Datasheets/ManualsPrintable datasheet for anti-TAB2 (ARP74274_P050-Biotin) antibody
Product Info
Predicted Species ReactivityHuman
Product FormatLiquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
ClonalityPolyclonal
HostRabbit
ConjugationBiotin
ApplicationWB
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
ImmunogenThe immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of Human TAB2
PurificationAffinity Purified
Peptide SequenceSynthetic peptide located within the following region: SGSSQSSAHSQYNIQNISTGPRKNQIEIKLEPPQRNNSSKLRSSGPRTSS

Blocking PeptideFor anti-TAB2 (ARP74274_P050-Biotin) antibody is Catalog # AAP74274
Gene SymbolTAB2
Alias SymbolsCHTD2, TAB-2, MAP3K7IP2
NCBI Gene Id23118
Description of TargetThe protein encoded by this gene is an activator of MAP3K7/TAK1, which is required for for the IL-1 induced activation of nuclear factor kappaB and MAPK8/JNK. This protein forms a kinase complex with TRAF6, MAP3K7 and TAB1, and it thus serves as an adaptor that links MAP3K7 and TRAF6. This protein, along with TAB1 and MAP3K7, also participates in the signal transduction induced by TNFSF11/RANKl through the activation of the receptor activator of NF-kappaB (TNFRSF11A/RANK), which may regulate the development and function of osteoclasts. Studies of the related mouse protein indicate that it functions to protect against liver damage caused by chemical stressors. Mutations in this gene cause congenital heart defects, multiple types, 2 (CHTD2). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
