Product FormatLiquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
ClonalityPolyclonal
HostRabbit
ConjugationBiotin
ApplicationCHIP, IHC, WB
Additional InformationIHC Information: Paraffin embedded placenta tissue, tested with an antibody dilution of 5 ug/ml.
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
ImmunogenThe immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human SUZ12
PurificationAffinity Purified
Predicted Homology Based on Immunogen SequenceCow: 100%; Dog: 100%; Guinea Pig: 93%; Horse: 100%; Human: 100%; Mouse: 100%; Pig: 100%; Rabbit: 100%; Rat: 100%

ReferenceLi,H., (2007) Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 104 (50), 20001-20006
Gene SymbolSUZ12
Gene Full NameSuppressor of zeste 12 homolog (Drosophila)
Alias SymbolsCHET9, IMMAS, JJAZ1
NCBI Gene Id23512
Protein NamePolycomb protein SUZ12
Description of TargetA chromosomal aberration involving SUZ12 may be a cause of endometrial stromal tumors. Translocation t (7;17)(p15;q21) with JAZF1 generates the JAZF1-SUZ12 oncogene consisting of the N-terminus part of JAZF1 and the C-terminus part of SUZ12. It is frequently found in all cases of endometrial stromal tumors, except in endometrial stromal sarcomas, where it is rarer. This zinc finger gene has been identified at the breakpoints of a recurrent chromosomal translocation reported in endometrial stromal sarcoma. Recombination of these breakpoints results in the fusion of this gene and JAZF1. The protein encoded by this gene contains a zinc finger domain in the C terminus of the coding region. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined. Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the publications that are available for this gene. Please see the Entrez Gene record to access additional publications.
