ELISA Kit Principle | Aviva's mouse SLAMF7 ELISA Kit is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for SLAMF7 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NS0, Immunogen sequence: S23-G224) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for SLAMF7 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB are used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB is catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The absorbance of yellow is proportional to the mouse SLAMF7 amount of sample captured in plate. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Protein Name | SLAM family member 7 |
Description of Target | SLAM family member 7 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLAMF7 gene. This gene is mapped to 1; 1 H3. The surface antigen CD319 (SLAMF7) is a robust marker of normal plasma cells and malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma. In contrast to CD138 (the traditional plasma cell marker), CD319/SLAMF7 is much more stable and allows robust isolation of malignant plasma cells from delayed or even cryopreserved samples. |
