• Storage: - The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or aminecontainingbuffer salts added. Store at 2- 8 C
  - The alkaline phosphatase (AP) conjugates are supplied in a stock solution in 50mM Tris/1mM MgCl2/50%Glycerol, pH 8.0, containing 0.1% NaN3 as preservative. Store at 2- 8 C
  - All system components can be stored for several months at 2- 8 C without appreciable loss of activity. Forlong- term storage, the purified antibody and AP conjugates should be aliquoted undiluted and stores at - 20 C.
• Characterization: To ensure lot- to- lot consistency, each batch of product is tested by ELISA for conformance to characteristics of astandard reference reagent.
• Dilution: ELISA (AP): 1:250-1:500
  Immunoblotting: Since immunoblotting methods vary, you should determine the optimum
  working dilution of the product that is appropriate for your specific need.
• Warning: Reagents contain sodium azide which is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, orclothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts ofwater. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid underacidic conditions. Dilute azide- containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation ofpotentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
