ELISA Kit Principle | The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to RalA Binding Protein 1 (RALBP1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to RalA Binding Protein 1 (RALBP1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain RalA Binding Protein 1 (RALBP1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of RalA Binding Protein 1 (RALBP1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

ELISA Kit Reproducibility | Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level RalA Binding Protein 1 (RALBP1) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level RalA Binding Protein 1 (RALBP1) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. Gene Full Name | ralA binding protein 1 |
Alias Symbols | 76 kDa Ral-interacting protein;dinitrophenyl S-glutathione ATPase;DNP-SG ATPase;ralA-binding protein 1;ral-interacting protein 1;RIP1;RLIP1;RLIP76. |
NCBI Gene Id | 10928 |
Protein Name | RalA-binding protein 1 |
Description of Target | Can activate specifically hydrolysis of GTP bound to RAC1 and CDC42, but not RALA. Mediates ATP-dependent transport of S-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-glutathione (DNP-SG) and doxorubicin (DOX) and is the major ATP-dependent transporter of glutathione conjugates of electrophiles (GS-E) and DOX in erythrocytes. Can catalyze transport of glutathione conjugates and xenobiotics, and may contribute to the multidrug resistance phenomenon. Serves as a scaffold protein that brings together proteins forming an endocytotic complex during interphase and also with CDK1 to switch off endocytosis, One of its substrates would be EPN1/Epsin. |
