Polyclonal Antibodies

Polyclonal antibodies are derived from immunization of rabbits, goats, and sheep using peptides, recombinant proteins, or small chemical molecules conjugated to immune stimulating molecules to generate specific immune responses. Unlike monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies are generally collections of reactive antibodies produced by the host species.

Aviva Systems Biology offers a broad selection of polyclonal antibodies in purified forms to recognize proteins, peptides, small molecules, and other substances for a variety of experimental applications. Use polyclonal antibodies for immunoblotting or western blot, for immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunofluorescence (IF) experiments, as well as for immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunoprecipitation, and ELISA development. Aviva's flagship polyclonal antibodies, designated with a beginning code of ARP or AVARP, were generated using small peptide immunogens which allow you to precisely map protein structure in experiments and monitor protein function in a cellular context. Whether it is a post-translational modification, a conjugate for ELISA or immunofluorescence, amino, carboxyl termini or the middle of our 15,000+ protein and non-protein targets, our antibodies are directed against human, mouse, rat and other species to provide deep coverage of proteomic space.
