Monoclonal Antibodies

Monoclonal Antibodies

A monoclonal antibody is an antibody that has been designed and produced to bind to a single protein or chemical epitope. Compared to polyclonal antibodies, monoclonal antibodies do have higher lot-to-lot consistency. Monoclonals are useful not only for detection as primary antibodies in a variety of applications, including ICC and Flow Cytometry, they are also useful for ELISA development.

Aviva's catalog of monoclonal antibodies offers over 5,000 items for use in various applications, including western blot, immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunohistochemistry (IHC), flow cytometry, ELISA, and more. Validation data in these applications is available wherever possible. The Aviva monoclonal antibody collection contains targets with a unique binding species where one is required for a given application such as flow cytometry or FACS. Many of Aviva’s available monoclonal antibodies are targeting generic protein sequences such as epitope tags, fluorescent proteins, luciferase, and other assay dependent reagents. Primary antibodies, modification-specific antibodies, and antibody conjugates are available to purchase from our online monoclonal antibody catalog.
