PPP2R2A Antibody - N-terminal region : FITC (ARP74141_P050-FITC)
Datasheets/Manuals | Printable datasheet for anti-PPP2R2A (ARP74141_P050-FITC) antibody |
---|
Predicted Species Reactivity | Human |
---|---|
Product Format | Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer. |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Host | Rabbit |
Conjugation | FITC: Fluorescein Isothiocyanate |
Application | WB |
Reconstitution and Storage | All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding. |
Immunogen | The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the N-terminal region of Human 2ABA |
Purification | Affinity purified |
Peptide Sequence | Synthetic peptide located within the following region: SERDKRPEGYNLKEEDGRYRDPTTVTTLRVPVFRPMDLMVEASPRRIFAN |
Concentration | 0.5 mg/ml |
Blocking Peptide | For anti-PPP2R2A (ARP74141_P050-FITC) antibody is Catalog # AAP74141 |

---|---|
Gene Full Name | protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit Balpha |
Alias Symbols | B55A, PR52A, PR55A, B55ALPHA, PR55alpha |
NCBI Gene Id | 5520 |
Protein Name | serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A 55 kDa regulatory subunit B alpha isoform |
Description of Target | The product of this gene belongs to the phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit B family. Protein phosphatase 2 is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. The B regulatory subunit might modulate substrate selectivity and catalytic activity. This gene encodes an alpha isoform of the regulatory subunit B55 subfamily. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. |
