Host | Rabbit |
Application | FC,IHC-P,WB |
Reconstitution and Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
Immunogen | This PGP antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 33-62 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human PGP. |
Predicted Homology Based on Immunogen Sequence | Human |
Concentration | Approximately 0.5mg/ml. Actual concentration varies with each lot. |
Sample Type Confirmation | PGP is strongly supported by BioGPS gene expression data to be expressed in K562 |
Application Info | WB: 1:1000 IHC-P: 1:50~100 FC: 1:10~50 |
Other Applications Image 1 Data | PGP Antibody (N-term) flow cytometric analysis of K562 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis. |
Gene Symbol | PGP |
---|---|
Alias Symbols | aspartate-based ubiquitous Mg(2+)-dependent phosphatase, AUM, G3PP, glycerol-3-phosphate phosphatase, PGPase, Phosphoglycolate phosphatase. |
NCBI Gene Id | 283871 |
Protein Name | Glycerol-3-phosphate phosphatase|glycerol-3-phosphate phosphatase [Homo sapiens] |
Description of Target | Glycerol-3-phosphate phosphatase hydrolyzing glycerol-3-phosphate into glycerol. Thereby, regulates the cellular levels of glycerol-3-phosphate a metabolic intermediate of glucose, lipid and energy metabolism. Was also shown to have a 2-phosphoglycolate phosphatase activity and a tyrosine-protein phosphatase activity. However, their physiological relevance is unclear (PubMed:26755581). In vitro, has also a phosphatase activity toward ADP, ATP, GDP and GTP (By similarity). |
