In bile duct cells and cancer cells, located to the apical cytoplasmic side
Tissue Location: Selectively expressed on the surface of antibody-secreting cells
Reconstitution and StorageMaintain refrigerated at 2-8C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
ImmunogenThis Mouse Enpp1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 29-57 amino acids from the N-terminal region of mouse Enpp1.
PurificationThis antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
ConcentrationVaries by lot. See vial for concentration.
Application InfoWB: 1:1000
Gene SymbolENPP1
Alias SymbolsEnpp1, Npps, Pc1, Pdnp1, Ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase family member 1, Lymphocyte antigen 41, Phosphodiesterase I/nucleotide pyrophosphatase 1, Plasma-cell membrane glycoprotein PC-1, Alkaline phosphodiesterase I, Nucleotide p
Protein NameEctonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase family member 1
Description of TargetInvolved primarily in ATP hydrolysis at the plasma membrane. Plays a role in regulating pyrophosphate levels, and functions in bone mineralization and soft tissue calcification. In vitro, has a broad specificity, hydrolyzing other nucleoside 5' triphosphates such as GTP, CTP, TTP and UTP to their corresponding monophosphates with release of pyrophosphate and diadenosine polyphosphates, and also 3',5'-cAMP to AMP. May also be involved in the regulation of the availability of nucleotide sugars in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi, and the regulation of purinergic signaling. Appears to modulate insulin sensitivity
Uniprot IDP06802
Molecular Weight103 kDa
