ELISA Kit Principle | The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to MYC Induced Nuclear Antigen (MINA). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to MYC Induced Nuclear Antigen (MINA). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain MYC Induced Nuclear Antigen (MINA), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of MYC Induced Nuclear Antigen (MINA) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
ELISA Kit Range | 0.156-10ng/mL
ELISA Kit Reproducibility | Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level MYC Induced Nuclear Antigen (MINA) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level MYC Induced Nuclear Antigen (MINA) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. Protein Name | Bifunctional lysine-specific demethylase and histidyl-hydroxylase MINA |
Description of Target | Oxygenase that can act as both a histone lysine demethylase and a ribosomal histidine hydroxylase. Is involved in the demethylation of trimethylated 'Lys-9' on histone H3 (H3K9me3), leading to an increase in ribosomal RNA expression. Also catalyzes the hydroxylation of 60S ribosomal protein L27a on 'His-39'. May play an important role in cell growth and survival. May be involved in ribosome biogenesis, most likely during the assembly process of pre-ribosomal particles. |
