LGLAS9 Induces T-helper type 1 lymphocyte (Th1) death. LGLAS9 performs as an eosinophil chemoattractant LGLAS9 is an S-type lectin which is over-expressed in Hodgkin''s disease tissue and takes part in the interaction between the H&RS cells with their surrounding cells.
  Product Description: LGALS9 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 168 amino acids (1-148 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 18.5 kDa. Galectin-9 is fused to 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
• Reconstitution and Storage: Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0. 1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
• Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
