  Product Introduction: GrpE, co-chaperone of E.coli, participates actively in the response to hyperosomotic and heat shock by preventing the aggregation of stress-denatured proteins in association with DnaK. This protein is the nucleotide exchange factor for DnaK and may function as a thermosensor. Several rounds of ATP-dependent interactions between DnaJ, DnaK and GrpE are required for fully efficient folding.
  Product Description: GrpE Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 197 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 21.8 kDa. The GrpE is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
• Reconstitution and Storage: GrpE although stable 4C for 4 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0. 1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
