GHR Antibody - N-terminal region : FITC (ARP44229_P050-FITC)

Datasheets/ManualsPrintable datasheet for anti-GHR (ARP44229_P050-FITC) antibody
Product Info
Predicted Species ReactivityHuman, Horse
Product FormatLiquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
ClonalityPolyclonal
HostRabbit
ConjugationFITC: Fluorescein Isothiocyanate
ApplicationWB
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
ImmunogenThe immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the N-terminal region of Human GHR
PurificationAffinity Purified
Predicted Homology Based on Immunogen SequenceHorse: 83%; Human: 100%
Peptide SequenceSynthetic peptide located within the following region: LLTLALAGSSDAFSGSEATAAILSRAPWSLQSVNPGLKTNSSKEPKFTKC
Concentration0.5 mg/ml
Blocking PeptideFor anti-GHR (ARP44229_P050-FITC) antibody is Catalog # AAP44229
Gene SymbolGHR
Gene Full Namegrowth hormone receptor
Alias SymbolsGHBP, GHIP
NCBI Gene Id2690
Protein NameGrowth hormone receptor
Description of TargetThis gene encodes a member of the type I cytokine receptor family, which is a transmembrane receptor for growth hormone. Binding of growth hormone to the receptor leads to receptor dimerization and the activation of an intra- and intercellular signal transduction pathway leading to growth. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Laron syndrome, also known as the growth hormone insensitivity syndrome (GHIS), a disorder characterized by short stature. In humans and rabbits, but not rodents, growth hormone binding protein (GHBP) is generated by proteolytic cleavage of the extracellular ligand-binding domain from the mature growth hormone receptor protein. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
