FADD Antibody (Phospho-Ser191) (OASG02627)

Datasheets/ManualsPrintable datasheet for anti-FADD (OASG02627) antibody
Product Info
Predicted Species ReactivityMouse
Product FormatLiquid PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.
ClonalityPolyclonal
IsotypeIgG
HostRabbit
ApplicationWB, IHC
::Tissue Specificity: Expressed in a wide variety of tissues, except for peripheral blood mononuclear leukocytes.
Sequence & Domain Family: Contains a death domain involved in the binding of the corresponding domain within Fas receptor. The interaction between the FAS and FADD death domains is crucial for the formation of the death-inducing signaling complex (DISC).
Reconstitution and StorageStore at -20C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
ImmunogenSynthesized peptide derived from human FADD around the phosphorylation site of S194. Location: 130-210aa.
PurificationThe antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration1 mg/ml
Target Post-Translational ModificationPhospho-Ser191
SpecificityPhospho-FADD (S191) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of FADD protein only when phosphorylated at S191.
Application InfoWB: 1:500~2000
IHC: 1:100~300
ELISA: 1:10000
Gene SymbolFADD
Gene Full NameFas (TNFRSF6)-associated via death domain
Alias SymbolsGIG3, MORT1
NCBI Gene Id8772;
Description of TargetApoptotic adaptor molecule that recruits caspase-8 or caspase-10 to the activated Fas (CD95) or TNFR-1 receptors. The resulting aggregate called the death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation. Active caspase-8 initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases mediating apoptosis. Involved in interferon-mediated antiviral immune response, playing a role in the positive regulation of interferon signaling.
Uniprot IDQ13158
Molecular Weight25 kDa
