Additional InformationProduct Introduction: This gene is a member of the EPO/TPO family and encodes a secreted, glycosylated cytokine composed of four alpha helical bundles. The protein is found in the plasma and regulates red cell production by promoting erythroid differentiation and initiating hemoglobin synthesis. This protein also has neuroprotective activity against a variety of potential brain injuries and antiapoptotic functions in several tissue types.
::Titer: By direct ELISA, 1:10,000 dilution will yield 0.5 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig.
Reconstitution and StorageGently spin vial prior to opening. Reconstitute with sterile H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use. Stability / Shelf LifeTwo years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4C. In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4C in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20C. Antibody is shipped lyophilized at ambient temperature.
