• Reconstitution and Storage: Do not dilute the entire reconstituted solution at once. Withdraw aliquots as needed with a micropipette and keep concentrated stock at 4C. Dilute according to the particular application being used. In general, the 0.05M borate pH 8.0 containing 0.15M sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, is a good dilutent to use with most antibodies. General info: When diluting for immunohistochemistry, ELISA or western blot, make the dilution in Antibody Diluting Buffer. Avoid diluting the entire contents of the vial at once since the diluted solution may have reduced stability.
  
• Immunogen: HIV-1 infected human cells.
• Specificity: This antibody reacts with HIV-1 gp120. gp120 binds to overlapping sites in the CDR2-like region in the CD4 domain 1. The interaction between CD4 and gp 120 is needed for viral infection, but this interaction will not allow viral entry into cells.
• Application Info: Immunohistochemistry 1:50-1:100 on frozen tissue sections only.
  The optimum conditions should be determined by the individual lab.
• Storage Buffer: Presentation:20 mM phosphate, 150 mM Sodium Chloride, and 0.05% Sodium Azide, pH 7.5. Purified from conc cell culture medium on Protein A column. This purified mouse immunoglobulin IgG1 contains approx. 10-20% bovine IgG.
