Additional InformationPrecautions: CD45 Antibody (C-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
::Function: Protein tyrosine-protein phosphatase required for T-cell activation through the antigen receptor. Acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation upon binding to DPP4. The first PTPase domain has enzymatic activity, while the second one seems to affect the substrate specificity of the first one. Upon T-cell activation, recruits and dephosphorylates SKAP1 and FYN Dephosphorylates LYN, and thereby modulates LYN activity (By similarity)
::Cellular Location: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Membrane raft. Note=Colocalized with DPP4 in membrane rafts
Reconstitution and StorageMaintain refrigerated at 2-8C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
ImmunogenThis CD45 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1245-1275 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CD45.
Predicted Homology Based on Immunogen SequenceHuman
ConcentrationApproximately 0.5mg/ml. Actual concentration varies with each lot.
