Clonality | Polyclonal |
Isotype | IgY |
Host | Chicken |
Application | WB |
Reconstitution and Storage | Store at 2-8°C. Expires 24 months from date of receipt. |
Purification | Immunoaffinity purified |
Concentration | 1.0 mg/mL |
Specificity | This antibody reacts with canine heartworm as determined by blotting and ELISA techniques. Some cross reactivity may be observed with feline heartworm. |
Procedure | Chickens were immunized with canine heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) antigen and egg yolks were collected. An IgY enriched fraction was prepared, the antibody was immunoaffinity purified off an antigen containing immunosorbent. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm : 1.32 equals 1.0 mg of IgY. |
