ELISA Kit Detection Method | Chemiluminescent
ELISA Kit Duration | 2h, 40min
ELISA Kit Principle | The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Calreticulin (CALR). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Calreticulin (CALR). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then the mixture of substrate A and B is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. Upon plate development, the intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the Calreticulin (CALR) level in the sample or standard.
ELISA Kit Range | 2.74-2,000pg/mL
ELISA Kit Reproducibility | Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Calreticulin (CALR) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Calreticulin (CALR) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. NCBI Gene Id | 64202 |
Protein Name | Calreticulin |
Description of Target | Calcium-binding chaperone that promotes folding, oligomeric assembly and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) via the calreticulin/calnexin cycle. This lectin interacts transiently with almost all of the monoglucosylated glycoproteins that are synthesized in the ER. Interacts with the DNA-binding domain of NR3C1 and mediates its nuclear export. Involved in maternal gene expression regulation. May participate in oocyte maturation via the regulation of calcium homeostasis. |
