ELISA Kit Principle | The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Complement Component 1, S Subcomponent (C1s). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Complement Component 1, S Subcomponent (C1s). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then the mixture of substrate A and B is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. Upon plate development, the intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the Complement Component 1, S Subcomponent (C1s) level in the sample or standard.
ELISA Kit Range | 41.2-30,000pg/mL
ELISA Kit Recovery |
| ||||||||||||||||||||||
ELISA Kit Reproducibility | Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Complement Component 1, S Subcomponent (C1s) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Complement Component 1, S Subcomponent (C1s) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. Gene Full Name | complement C1s |
Alias Symbols | basic proline-rich peptide IB-1;C1 esterase;complement C1s subcomponent;complement component 1 subcomponent s;complement component 1, s subcomponent;EDSPD2. |
NCBI Gene Id | 716 |
Protein Name | Complement C1s subcomponent |
Description of Target | C1s B chain is a serine protease that combines with C1q and C1r to form C1, the first component of the classical pathway of the complement system. C1r activates C1s so that it can, in turn, activate C2 and C4. |
