ELISA Kit Principle | The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to ATPase, Na+/K+ Transporting Alpha 1 Polypeptide (ATP1a1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to ATPase, Na+/K+ Transporting Alpha 1 Polypeptide (ATP1a1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain ATPase, Na+/K+ Transporting Alpha 1 Polypeptide (ATP1a1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of ATPase, Na+/K+ Transporting Alpha 1 Polypeptide (ATP1a1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
ELISA Kit Range | 0.312-20ng/mL
ELISA Kit Reproducibility | Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ATPase, Na+/K+ Transporting Alpha 1 Polypeptide (ATP1a1) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ATPase, Na+/K+ Transporting Alpha 1 Polypeptide (ATP1a1) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. Gene Full Name | ATPase Na+/K+ transporting subunit alpha 1 |
Alias Symbols | ATPase, Na+/K+ transporting, alpha 1 polypeptide;Na(+)/K(+) ATPase alpha-1 subunit;Na/K ATPase alpha 1 subunit;Na+/K+ -ATPase alpha 1 subunit;sodium pump subunit alpha-1;sodium/potassium-transporting ATPase subunit alpha-1. |
NCBI Gene Id | 100302415 |
Protein Name | Sodium/potassium-transporting ATPase subunit alpha-1 |
Description of Target | This is the catalytic component of the active enzyme, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of sodium and potassium ions across the plasma membrane. This action creates the electrochemical gradient of sodium and potassium ions, providing the energy for active transport of various nutrients (By similarity). May contribute to blood-heart barrier properties of endocardial endothelium and may control cardiac performance via endothelial Na(+)/H(+) exchange. |
