Product FormatLiquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
ClonalityPolyclonal
HostRabbit
ConjugationBiotin
ApplicationWB
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
ImmunogenThe immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human ALDOA

Gene SymbolALDOA
Gene Full NameAldolase A, fructose-bisphosphate
Alias SymbolsALDA, GSD12, HEL-S-87p
NCBI Gene Id226
Protein NameFructose-bisphosphate aldolase A
Description of TargetALDOA is a glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the reversible conversion of fructose-1,6-bisphosphate to glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate. Aldolase A is found in the developing embryo and is produced in even greater amounts in adult muscle. Aldolase A expression is repressed in adult liver, kidney and intestine and similar to aldolase C levels in brain and other nervous tissue. Aldolase A deficiency has been associated with myopathy and hemolytic anemia. This gene product, Aldolase A (fructose-bisphosphate aldolase) is a glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the reversible conversion of fructose-1,6-bisphosphate to glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate. Three aldolase isozymes (A, B, and C), encoded by three different genes, are differentially expressed during development. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants which encode the same protein.
