ADRB2 Antibody - middle region : Biotin (AVARP00006_P050-Biotin)

Datasheets/ManualsPrintable datasheet for anti-ADRB2 (AVARP00006_P050-Biotin) antibody
Product Info
Predicted Species ReactivityHuman
Product FormatLiquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
ClonalityPolyclonal
HostRabbit
ConjugationBiotin
ApplicationWB
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
ImmunogenThe immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human ADRB2
Predicted Homology Based on Immunogen SequenceHuman: 100%
Peptide SequenceSynthetic peptide located within the following region: TGEQSGYHVEQEKENKLLCEDLPGTEDFVGHQGTVPSDNIDSQGRNCSTN
Concentration0.5 mg/ml
Blocking PeptideFor anti-ADRB2 (AVARP00006_P050-Biotin) antibody is Catalog # AAP30422 (Previous Catalog # AAPP01005)

Gene SymbolADRB2
Gene Full NameAdrenergic, beta-2-, receptor, surface
Alias SymbolsBAR, B2AR, ADRBR, ADRB2R, BETA2AR
NCBI Gene Id154
Protein NameBeta-2 adrenergic receptor
Description of TargetThis protein is beta-2-adrenergic receptor which is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. This receptor is directly associated with one of its ultimate effectors, the class C L-type calcium channel Ca(V)1.2. This receptor-channel complex also contains a G protein, an adenylyl cyclase, cAMP-dependent kinase, and the counterbalancing phosphatase, PP2A. The assembly of the signaling complex provides a mechanism that ensures specific and rapid signaling by this G protein-coupled receptor. Different polymorphic forms, point mutations, and/or downregulation of this gene are associated with nocturnal asthma, obesity and type 2 diabetes.
