HostRabbit
ConjugationHRP: Horseradish Peroxidase
ApplicationIHC, WB
Additional InformationIHC Information: Fetal liver cell lysate. Antibody concentration: 1.25 ug/ml. Gel concentration: 12%.
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
ImmunogenThe immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human ADH4

Gene SymbolADH4
Gene Full NameAlcohol dehydrogenase 4 (class II), pi polypeptide
Alias SymbolsADH-2, HEL-S-4
NCBI Gene Id127
Protein NameAlcohol dehydrogenase 4
Description of TargetADH4, class II alcohol dehydrogenase 4 pi subunit, which is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. Members of this enzyme family metabolize a wide variety of substrates, including ethanol, retinol, other aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. Class II alcohol dehydrogenase is a homodimer composed of 2 pi subunits. It exhibits a high activity for oxidation of long-chain aliphatic alcohols and aromatic alcohols and is less sensitive to pyrazole. This gene encodes class II alcohol dehydrogenase 4 pi subunit, which is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. This gene is localized to chromosome 4 in the cluster of alcohol dehydrogenase genes. Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the publications that are available for this gene.
