SpecificityOASA04072 specifically recognises rat CD63, an intracellular type-III lysosomal glycoprotein and member of the tetraspanin (TM4SF) family, which is translocated to the cell surface upon activation of platelets, and therefore a potential indicator of platelet activation.
Rat CD63 is expressed on mast cells, and studies using clone AD1, have shown that it is located near to FcER1, and that clone AD1 partially inhibits IgE-mediated histamine release, see Kitani, S. et al. for details.
Application InfoFlow Cytometry: 1/10 - 1/200
Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Application DataApplication #1: Rat peripheral blood platelets stained with Mouse anti Rat CD63
Application #2: Rat peripheral blood platelets stained with Mouse anti Rat CD63 Alexa Fluor 488
Application #3: Rat peritoneal macrophages stained with Mouse anti Rat CD63:Alexa Fluor 647
