- Description of Target:
- NUCB1 is a calcium (Ca2+) binding protein found in both Golgi and cytoplasm. It is thought to have a key role in Golgi calcium homeostasis and Ca(2+)-regulated signal transduction events. Recent publication has also linked this protein's function to development of Alzheimer's disease.
