Additional InformationBackground: This gene encodes the seventh largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, the polymerase responsible for synthesizing messenger RNA in eukaryotes. The protein functions in transcription initiation, and is also thought to help stabilize transcribing polyermase molecules during elongation. [provided by RefSeq]
::Positive Controls: 293T, A431, H1299, HeLa, HepG2, Molt-4, Raji
::Cellular Localization: Nucleus
Reconstitution and StorageKeep as concentrated solution. Aliquot and store at -20C or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
ImmunogenRecombinant protein fragment contain a sequence corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 122 (P62487) of RNA polymerase IIG
PurificationPurified by antigen-affinity chromatography.
Concentration1 mg/ml
Application InfoSuggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB: 1:500-1:3000, IHC-P: 1:100-1:1000 [suggested antigen retrieval using heat mediated 10mM Citrate buffer (pH6.0) or Tris-EDTA buffer (pH8.0)]. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.
Storage Buffer0.1M Tris, 0.1M Glycine, 10% Glycerol (pH7). 0.01% Thimerosal was added as a preservative.
