ELISA Kit Principle | Aviva Systems Biology gGH ELISA Kit (Human) (OKDD00283) is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immuno-sorbent assay methodology. An antibody for gGH has been pre-coated onto a 96-wellplate (12 x 8 Well Strips). Standards or test samples are added to the wells, incubated and removed. A biotinylated detector antibody specific for gGH is added, incubated and removed. Avidin-Peroxidase Conjugate is then added, incubated and unbound conjugate is washed away. An enzymatic reaction is produced through the addition of TMB substrate which is catalyzed by HRP generating a blue color product that changes yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow coloration read by absorbance at 450 nm and is quantitatively proportional to the amount of sample gGH captured in well.
ELISA Kit Range | 0.156-10ng/mL
ELISA Kit Reproducibility | Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level GGH were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level GGH were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-Assay: CV<12% | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Gene Full Name | gamma-glutamyl hydrolase |
Alias Symbols | Conjugase;gamma-glutamyl hydrolase;gamma-glutamyl hydrolase (conjugase, folylpolygammaglutamyl hydrolase);gamma-Glu-X carboxypeptidase;GATD10;GH. |
NCBI Gene Id | 8836 |
Protein Name | Gamma-glutamyl hydrolase |
Description of Target | Hydrolyzes the polyglutamate sidechains of pteroylpolyglutamates. Progressively removes gamma-glutamyl residues from pteroylpoly-gamma-glutamate to yield pteroyl-alpha-glutamate (folic acid) and free glutamate. May play an important role in the bioavailability of dietary pteroylpolyglutamates and in the metabolism of pteroylpolyglutamates and antifolates. |
