Additional InformationReconstitution: Reconstitute with of H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use. Stability / Shelf LifeTwo years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4C.
::Product Type: Rat Anti Mouse Monoclonal.
::Antibody Properties: Blocking and staining antibody. For staining, use 10 ul/106 cells. Titer for blocking T cell activation should be determined by the investigator.
::Product Introduction: CD86 type I membrane protein is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily which is expressed by antigen-presenting cells, and acts as the ligand for two proteins at the cell surface of T cells, CD28 antigen and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4. CD86 binding with CD28 protein is a co-stimulatory signal for initiation of the T-cell. CD86 binding with CTLA-4 negatively regulates T-cell activation and diminishes the immune response.
Reconstitution and StorageLyophilized: store at 4C. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20C.
ImmunogenThe immunogen for anti-CD86 antibody: purified mouse LPS-activated B cells.
