Antigen Specificity:
Mouse monoclonal antibody produced in mouse immunized with E.coli derived full-length recombinant protein
Reconstitution and Storage:
Antibody is lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 100 μl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Key Reference:
Prendergast FG, et al., Biochemistry. 1978 Aug 22, 17(17): 3448-53
Quality Control:
Mouse IgG purified by protein A chromatography.
Suggested starting concentrations are provided. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end-user. Differences in calculated versus apparent molecular weight may be due to post-translational modifications or protein hydrophobicity. For research use only not for diagnostic, human, or veterinary use.
Western Blot
Full length GFP was expressed in E.coli as inclusion body and purified after protein refolding for mouse immunization. Clone 6E10 shows excellent western blot detection of when GFP-GST recombinant antigen was used for western blot test.
