Catalog#   Accession # Size Price Qty
ARP32837_P050   NP_751946 50µg $260.00
  Description:
The assembly and stability of the RNA polymerase II transcription pre-initiation complex on a eukaryotic core promoter involves the effects of TFIIA on the interaction between TATA-binding protein (TBP) and DNA. ALF is a germ cell-specific counterpart of the large (alpha/beta) subunit of general transcription factor TFIIA that is able to stabilize the binding of TBP to DNA and may be uniquely important to testis biology.

Antigen Specificity:
Polyclonal antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human ALF with an internal ID of P03857.
Reconstitution and Storage:
Antibody is lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 µl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

Quality Control:
Rabbit Ig G is purified by peptide affinity chromatography method.
Suggested starting concentrations are provided. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end-user. Differences in calculated versus apparent molecular weight may be due to post-translational modifications or protein hydrophobicity. For research use only not for diagnostic, human, or veterinary use.
Western Blot
Suggested dilution at 0.4µg/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG should be diluted in 1: 50,000 - 100,000 as second antibody.
