Description: 
NR5A1 is a members of the orphan nuclear receptor superfamily that is critical regulatory components of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-gonadal axis. In adrenal and gonadal tissues they regulate the expression of the cytochrome P450 steroid hydroxylase genes, key mediators of steroidogenesis.

Antigen Specificity:  Polyclonal antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of Human NR5A1 with an internal ID of P03528  Reconstitution and Storage:  Antibody is lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 100 µl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.  Key Reference:  Li,L.A., et al., (2004) J.
