Description: 
ASGR2 binds to galactose-terminated glycoproteins. It transports these glycoproteins via a series of membrane vesicles and tubules to an acidic-sorting organelle where the receptor and ligand dissociates. Then the receptor is recycled back to the cell surface. There are four alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene. This gene has multiple polyadenylation sites.

Antigen Specificity:  Polyclonal antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of Human ASGR2 with an internal ID of P04886  Reconstitution and Storage:  Antibody is lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 µl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.  Key Reference:  Yik,J.H., et al., (2002) J.
