Catalog#   Accession # Size Price Qty
ARP33805_T100   NP_001662 100µg $198.00
  Description:
ASGR1 encodes for a cell surface receptor binds to galactose-terminated glycoproteins. It transports these glycoproteins via a series of membrane vesicles and tubules to an acidic-sorting organelle where the receptor and ligand dissociates. Then the receptor is recycled back to the cell surface.
Species Reactivity:
Human, Dog
Gene Symbol:
ASGR1
Alias_Symbols:
HGNC:742, ASGPR, CLEC4H1, Hs.12056
Peptide ID:
P04871
ELISA titre using peptide based assay:
1:312500

Antigen Specificity:
Polyclonal antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of Human ASGR1 with an internal ID of P04871
Reconstitution and Storage:
Antibody is lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 100 µl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Key Reference:
Saunier,B., et al., (2003) J. Virol. 77(1), 546-59
Quality Control:
Rabbit IgG purified by protein A chromatography.
Suggested starting concentrations are provided. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end-user. Differences in calculated versus apparent molecular weight may be due to post-translational modifications or protein hydrophobicity. For research use only not for diagnostic, human, or veterinary use.
Western Blot
Suggested dilution at 0.6µg/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG should be diluted in 1: 50,000 - 100,000 as second antibody.
