  Description:
The CHRNA3 subunit is expressed in the soma of the majority of pyramidal cells, with the most alpha 3 immunoreactivity observed in CA2-4 and entorhinal cortex and relatively less in CA1 and subicular pyramidal cell soma.
Species Reactivity:
Human,Dog
Gene Symbol:
CHRNA3
Alias_Symbols:
HGNC:1957

Antigen Specificity:
Polyclonal antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of Human CHRNA3 with an internal ID of P01327
Reconstitution and Storage:
Antibody is lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 µl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Key Reference:

Quality Control:
Rabbit Ig G is purified by peptide affinity chromatography method.
Suggested starting concentrations are provided. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end-user. Differences in calculated versus apparent molecular weight may be due to post-translational modifications or protein hydrophobicity. For research use only not for diagnostic, human, or veterinary use.
Western Blot
Suggested dilution at 0.1µg/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG should be diluted in 1: 50,000 - 100,000 as second antibody.
