The gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A receptor is a multisubunit chloride channel that mediates the fastest inhibitory synaptic transmission in the central nervous system. The subunit encoded GABRP is expressed in several non-neuronal tissues including the uterus and ovaries. Antigen Specificity:  Polyclonal antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of Human GABRP with an internal ID of P01352  Reconstitution and Storage:  Antibody is lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.  Key Reference:  Neelands,T.R. (1999) Mol.
