  Description:
Zinc finger proteins (Zfp) are encoded by a large family of genes present in many organisms including yeast and human. Some of them are transcriptional activators and bind specifically to DNA by zinc mediated folded structures commonly known as zinc fingers. The putative Zfp-1 (Zinc finger protein 1 homolog) protein contains in addition to 7 zinc fingers, two helix-turn-helix motifs.

Antigen Specificity:
Polyclonal antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human ZFP1 with an internal ID of P02367.
Reconstitution and Storage:
Antibody is lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 ul of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

Quality Control:
Rabbit Ig G is purified by peptide affinity chromatography method.
Suggested starting concentrations are provided. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end-user. Differences in calculated versus apparent molecular weight may be due to post-translational modifications or protein hydrophobicity. For research use only not for diagnostic, human, or veterinary use.
Western Blot
Suggested dilution at 0.1-2.0µg/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG should be diluted in 1: 50,000 - 100,014 as second antibody.
