AVAMM2002-1   200 µg $195.00
  Description:
TNF-alpha is a member of a family of cytokines. All known members of the TNF-alpha cytokine family induce hepatic expression of acute phase proteins . Monocytes express at least five different molecular forms of TNF-alpha with molecular masses of 21.5-28 kDa. They mainly differ by post-translational alterations such as glycosylation and phosphorylation
Species Reactivity:
Human
Clone Number:
5F10
Antigen Specificity:
Mouse monoclonal antibody (5F10) was raised against a recombinant TNFα fusion protein.
Reconstitution and Storage:
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 100 µl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 2 mg/ml. For longer periods of storage, store at -20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Key Reference:
Jelinkova, L., et al., (2004) FEBS Lett. 571(1-3), 81-5;
Quality Control:
Mouse IgG is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography method.
Suggested starting concentrations are provided. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end-user. Differences in calculated versus apparent molecular weight may be due to post-translational modifications or protein hydrophobicity. For research use only not for diagnostic, human, or veterinary use.

Western Blot
Suggested dilution at 1:2500 in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti-mouse IgG should be diluted in 1: 50,000 - 100,000 as second antibody.
