Datasheets/ManualsPrintable datasheet for anti-ATP11C antibody - OAAB02861
Product Info
Predicted Species ReactivityHuman, Mouse, Hamster
Product FormatLiquid. PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.
ClonalityPolyclonal
IsotypeRabbit Ig
HostRabbit
ApplicationWB, FC, IHC-P
::Function: Catalytic component of a P4-ATPase flippase complex which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled to the transport of aminophospholipids from the outer to the inner leaflet of various membranes and ensures the maintenance of asymmetric distribution of phospholipids. Phospholipid translocation seems also to be implicated in vesicle formation and in uptake of lipid signaling molecules. Required for B cell differentiation past the pro-B cell stage. Seems to mediate phosphatidylserine (PS) flipping in pro-B cells. May be involved in the transport of cholestatic bile acids (By similarity).
Cellular Location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein Endoplasmic reticulum membrane Note=Efficient exit from the endoplasmic reticulum requires the presence of TMEM30A. Some cell membrane localization observed in the presence of TMEM30B.
Tissue Location Widely expressed.
Reconstitution and StorageMaintain refrigerated at 2-8C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
ImmunogenThis ATP11C antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 589-616 amino acids from the Central region of human ATP11C.
PurificationThis antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Predicted Homology Based on Immunogen SequenceHuman; Mouse, Hamster
ConcentrationApproximately 0.5mg/ml. Actual concentration varies with each lot.
Intended Use
For research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
